I was never one who believed in or promoted taking vitamins, but this experience really changed my point of view. This is one of the best tips I’ve recently received! For the last 2 months I have been trying it on myself, my husband, our daughter, some friends and it really works. I am so passionate about it that I just have to share. It is one of those things you can easily do.
We all know we need Vitamin C to be healthy, and we all know where we can get it. Oranges and lemons are some good sources, right…? Right.

But what I do want to do is to inspire you to take Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) as a preventative measure or a cure to any illness, and it works exceptionally well with the flu.

Actually, for over 100 years it has been known to cure many illnesses, but has been dismissed and belittled by the pharmaceutical business. Unfortunately, they can’t make a profit from it.
So, when you are feeling sick or something is starting to “brew”…
here is what you do.
Start taking Vitamin C in extremely high doses. The best is ascorbic acid in capsule form, but if you can’t find that go with whatever form you do find.
Start with 6000 milligrams and then take 1000 milligrams every hour up to the point when you would start to have diarrhea. (Though I was really pumping it in, I never got any diarrhea at all).
It is as simple as that!!!
Sounds crazy? Sounds like too high a dose?
The best way to check it out is to try it on yourself or on someone you are close to. Vitamin C is safe even in very high doses and has no side effects (in comparison to prescription drugs...)
It’s better to be healthy than to be skeptical and sick.
It works for me and my husband. Everyone around us was getting the flu and we stayed flu free by taking high high dosages of Vitamin C – we took up to 20,000 milligrams a day.
How much vitamin C is an effective therapeutic dose?
Dr. F. R. Klenner (one of the first physicians who was researching this and aggressively used it to cure diseases, gave up to 300,000 mg per day. He gave 350 to 700 mg per kilogram body weight per day).
What about children?
We also gave it to our 3 year old daughter.
Just open one 1000 ml capsule into some freshly squeezed orange juice every hour. You can give this amount per day: the age of the child in grams (or until there is a very loose stool).
Here is a great Vitamin C-boost Juicy
Blend:
- 2 whole oranges - peeled and cut
- 1 whole lemon - peeled and cut
- chunk of ginger - cut into small pieces
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 heaping Tbsp of Mr or Mrs Green (15g)
- 1 cup water
- a few green leaves (spinach\kale\chard)
- a little black pepper
- 1000mg ascorbic acid (open capsule and pour in)
- 1 probiotic (open capsule and pour in)
